That depends on the the fuel available. AFAIK some old engines had compression ratios below 7:1. Nowadays most are above 8:1.

Check with the 302 engine forum for help with picking a cam and engine components. Check with the 302 forum on how to check your dynamic compression ratio which will vary with the cam and static compression ratio.

You can run remote turbos to get the 460 shoe horned in there. You can also flip a shorty set of headers upside down and backward then cut holes in the hood to clear it all. It would look pretty cool to have dual cowlings covering the turbos. The turbos can be mounted in such manor as to allow for the exhaust to face the right direction too.

Hmm, I'm guessing you haven't invested in the good turbo books written by Hugh McInnes or Corky Bell or you wouldn't be asking.
So... you can run 7.5 compression piston. However it will basically go liek a Chevette diesel until the turbos spool up. And..if you're running four turbos I'm guessing they are small. (Versus 2 mediums or 1 big turbo). Therefore you will have a small RPM range where you'll have boost. So the engine will be a dog on the bottom end and run out of breath fairly soon or be a dog until the engine is almost screaming. I suggest going with stock compression, about 8.5. You won't be able to add as much boost pressure but you'll be able to get going quite a bit better.
I also suggest buying either one or both of thoise books before you do too much more.

i have read part of maximum boost but no i have not pruchased do to where i have ben for the past few months with the army and im doing sumthing that sum would say is not the ideal way to go. im running two small for bottom end and 2 for top end in a twin sequential setup. it is a bit exstreme but i wanted sumthing to challenge myself. it has ben a setup that i have worked on for the past few years and im not afraid of finding out sumthing that doesnt work until it does. i had posted this here to see if anyone had ran that low of commpression and if they had any ideas of what to expect.
