What do you think of Shari's Restaurant? Me I do like their breakfast and their milkshakes but the other meals they have isn't all that good, however I don't like the service you get at Shari's all that much (depending on the server).
dang, did i put a serious overtone in this? my bad, i just been slamming the punching bag for an hour so i am in my "hate" mood.
i am more of a denny's person, though i get and am now, tired of their food and such, for some reason my wife and i love the atmosphere of denny's, late at nite, about 2 or 3 in the morning, having some coffee and cheap food, love it! and can't get enough of the cherry limeaide on a hot day for some reason.
My experience with Sharis in Portland Or area is that the food is upscale Dennys. The service can be spotty sometimes terrible.
To be fair, all business are individual so a blanket statement doesn't necessarily apply. I have only been to two Sharis in Oregon, but on a frequent basis, in the past.
Just my experience,
Jim Henderson

When I ran up in the PNW, I had occasion to go to a couple... The food was pretty good, but as I recall, the service did tend to be a little on the unpredictable side.
As I recall, Perkins has a little better food quality. It's been a while since I've been in one, though; the truckstop chain that had Perkins in many of it's facilities got bought out by Pilot, who replaced them all with Subway's.... *snarl*

The Shari's in Walla Walla was also on the unpredictable side, the food was pretty good but a little overpriced, most of my experiences at Shari's are pretty much forgettable although I've had horrible service there a few times.
