Goose neck trailer plug ?

Goose neck trailer plug ?
Were or what is the best way to set up a plug for the trailer wiring with a goose-neck? I have the factory 7 wire plug and don't want to go chopping into the wire. A few people have said not to just hang it over the tailgate because it can rub the paint plus can get caught when ding sharp turns.

There is a T that plugs into your trucks wiring and has about 7 foot of cable so you can add another 7 way plug in the bed. I found it for another member a while back, I'll see if I can find it again.

I have seen them installed under one of the rear post holes down near the bottom. A hole will have to be cut for the plug to recess up into. With the flip up cover on the plug, everything will look nice and neat.

Mine are mounted to the post above the left wheel well, and I spliced into the factory harness in back.
I run both the 7 pin RV style plug as well as the older 6 pin round plug. Makes it easier to tow anything w/o having to fool with adapters.
