Clutch questions
I have a 93 f-150 5.0 5spd (mazda). The problem I am having is it feels like the cluth isnt engauging/disengaugeing properly. When i shift gears there is some grind and its feels like when i let out the clutch and start to go that the truck lacks a little power. Funny thing is I can try to start in 5th and let out the cluth and it grabs right away and starts to move without feathering it. So Im pretty sure im not just slipping. Its has a centerforce in it right now. Do you guys think the aftermarket clutches are worth the extra money? Or should I just go with OEM. I plan on starting it tomarrow. One other thing what special tool do i need to unhock the lines to the slave. never completed a hyrdo clutch before. Done plenty of old style clutches in the past just never a newer one.?
