truck makes clunking noises
my truck has been sittin foe a while, the guy i bought it from used it to haul stuff, well he just used it as a work truck. its been sittin in his driveway for a while. i bought it and done a little bit of work to it and here recently it starting making noises. i was travelin down to the end of moon road (an ol gravel road)with some rough sections in it. when i hit a bump my truck makes a clunking noise and rides really rough. is is just bad shocks. what is an affordable brand of shocks and are still a good ride. its for a 69 f100 2wd long bed.

it has sway bars, me and dad looked everything over and i got new front shocks and ordered a set of kingpins while i was at it. the noise was coming from the front bumper. the top bolts were really loose and the bottom arent very tight either when i tried to tighten them they wouldnt budge because they were so rusted so i sprayed some zep on them like wd40 and then when i tried to tighten them i twisted the bolts in half
