Maybe im wrong, but the TC lockin up is PCM controlled, wouldnt that have something to do with the tuning, and not the trans?

My co-workers nicknamed my rig 'Christine' shortly after it's purchase after I had a dozen or so intances where shutting off the cruise control with the 'OFF' button while braking caused the throttle to pin wide open and the truck would just take off. The only way to stop it was to shut it off. After 4 or so months the dealer finally replaced nearly everything PCM, ECU, Cruise circuit, and they expelled the demon. Thought you all'd get a kick out of that.

Sorry.

my DP tuner is set for the BTS..this locale Trans shop was suppose to run a test to let me know what was wrong with my Trans..it would shift fine but tc would not lock up some times...other times it locked up good..I thought it was the tc solenoid..turned out to be a blown tc..so he went ahead and rebuilt me a Trans for $3300 and he used the sonnax kit and used a $800 tc he got some place..I'm pissed..he was never asked to rebuild it I was going to get a bts Trans..so now we are off to court..

I did something similar a long time ago using LED's.

Now, I've converted my dome lamp, tail lights, and high mount to all LED.

suggestions: just solder leads direscly onto the LED base red (hot)to the base center prong, black (ground) to the outside of the bulb base.

some of the custom kid racer shops may have what you need for a socket, or mebbe the local harley aftermarket guys although I haven't seen any there.
