Easy Trim Question

I need to remove my "A" post plastic trim so I can run a wire behind it. Do I just pull it straight off? Any tips to do it without breaking anything? I need to make sure I can put it back.

Thanks

If i remember right there are two little square covers that pop off and there are two bolts underneith them. Once you get the bolts out start at the roof and gently pull on the piller. The bottom, by the dash can be a little tricky so just be gentle when pulling. Here is a link with a couple of pics so you can see http://www.dieselmanor.com/diy/PSD3-...73gauge-p1.htm

Don't want to scare you but you can break that thing. Be careful. Look in my gallery for my pics of what happened to mine when I got impatient.

99 does not have "oh chit" handle on the drivers side so no bolts.
first : pull down black weather striping peice( dont worry it goes back)
second: grab A -pillar trim and slowly wiggle it enough out to see the clips behind it, take a small flat head and press the release tabs on these clips and the A pillar trim will come out remove straight out as not to damage the plastic guide pins.
Good luck
