3 speed, Should be a Ford "303" all synchro top-loaded, iron case. The pics show toploaded and it appears to be iron case.
Ratios varied, and I don't have a chart. First and 2nd will be ok, big gap to the 1:1 3rd.
Shifter would be 3 on tree in stock applications. After that, you'll have to adapt a "universal" floor shifter, which will probably sit too far back for a PU.
There are 4 speed OD trans that bolt in identically and have the same crap-o-la ratios 1-2-3 but at least have OD if you are going to swap it out.
Auto trans shifters go backwards and forwards. You need an "H" pattern shifter.
Are you replacing a 3 speed or going auto to MT?
I don't know what they want for this, but this is NOT a transmission to go out of your way to make work. Like I said, you can get the OD 4 speed, or a T19 all synchro 4 speed with the low first and direct 4th, they will bolt in and shifters come with 'em if you buy from donor truck, and you will be up a gear and down a bunch of hassel.
