pcv valve
My dads ranger is hesitating when he gets up to higher speeds. So we figure its time to just do some routine maintenance on it, the spark plugs are good and wires are good so we figure well go ahead and replace the pcv valve and fuel filter. Well we are trying to do the pcv valve today and cant find it, the pcv they gave us and said was for the truck is one of the ones that are bent at a right angle (is this the right part?) and what we though was the pcv valve up front on top of the valve cover doesnt seem to be it. So my question is where exactly is the pcv valve, we are having trouble finding it? thanks guys o btw it is a 2.5 4 cyl, wiht 5sp manual

I often see a right angle bent one listed for my '94, which uses a straight out one as well. I just went back, returned that one, and bought a straight one and used it without problems. I know I got my local O'Reilly's to change the part number to the one that actually matched the one I took out, as there was no way that hose was going to bend to fit a 90 degree angled PCV.

i found it way way down in there under the intake manifold (seems like an odd place to me, guess im gues to my bigger trucks lol) but thanks for the help, it actually was the right part!
