New alt.

Would anyone here know of a good high output aftermarket alt. for a 95 PSD F250. I read a thread about 1 month ago but now I think I need to get it and can't find it anywhere in my computer. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

I'm not sure if this is what you want but here's some part numbers:

(Ford) F5UU-10300-CA 215Amp Ambulance alternator

I think the stock alternator is a (Motorcraft) GL504RM 130A

Thanks Cuda but I'm looking for the aftermarket alt. that I read about as it has a really high output and doesn't cost much more than stock. Today I'm going to P/U a set of brushs and see if that will hold me til I get backfrom Texas. Thanks for the #'s

What are you running that 130 amps won't support? Humongous stereo?

i was told by NAPA that the ambulance alt would not work on a truck w/o the ambulance package? i thought this was a bit bogus, but ended up getting a stock 130 anyway. can anyone verify/refute this?

No, not a stereo just a winch,snow plow and compressor (not all at once) I just figured extra amps wouldn't hurt if I have to replace it anyway.I also am getting a large capacity inverter later on and then I really will need the amps.

I was just looking at the NAPA online site and all it says is that you need the special wire kit for a higher output alternator.From the picture it looks like it should just bolt up.I was told a few months ago that it's just an upgrade FOMOKO alt and should bolt right up.
