USE THE 70 carb. The DOTF carb is a super carb very hard to come by and have great flow properties. They have the big 1.23 barrels. skip the 77 carb its a emissions carb.

Well believe it or not, I have still not gotten around to rebuilding my carb.
But am planning to this summer.
So I take it that your advice is still to use the carb marked DOTF as a better carb?
I would find that better as then I can still use the truck and then when I do the carb it will be a quick swap and off to the races.
I sure appreciate all the input supplied by everybody here.
Since the original post I picked up a digital camera, so it makes it better for some of the posts as one can supply more detail with the cameras.
I guess I should also ask, my 1977 truck carb I believe is a 2150 would this 1970 one not be a 2100 and will it really work in place of the original?
However, the 2150 carburetor is a very good carburetor. Depends on what engine and transmission it originally came with, it may have the 1.21 barrels like my 2150 does. In '77 the 2150 didn't have emissions on it.
The 2100 will work on the truck, as it is mostly similar to the 2150. However, you need to read up on carburetors if you aren't sure what to run at this point.
