air condition

how do I keep the a/c compressor engaged on my 2002 explorer so I can add a can of r134? thanks

No thanks,but sorry there is a way to jump the compressor to run all the time

basically the same on all models.... If there is one wire going to the compressor, make it hot with a jumper wire from positive post of battery. If there are two wires, you'll have to mate them together to continue the circuit. However, after adding one can, it should pump on its own. And as a rule, very few systems will take more than 3 cans.

Maybe try the explorer forum or the Heating air conditioning?


This forum isn't for automotive discussion as per the title .
