Has anyone out there used ATS injectors, turbos, or other products? I like to be well informed before I start making decisions on aftermarket products that will void my warranty. Any help would be appreciated.
SCT is the ****! I dont think ATS could compete with them. However their Aurora series turbos are bad fuggin *** IMO. They definetly know what they're doing but I think they are more Chebby guys themselves.
my buddy has a aurora 5000 for his cummins from ats and he broke the shaft on it and they will not warranty it...had professional install and about 40 miles on it and broke....i'd spend my money where they'll stand behind there product myself...

We stock a full line of 6.0 turbos (singles and compounds), injectors, fuel systems, and custom engine components; along with custom tuning to go along with it.
Feel free to take a look at our website. A good majority of our products are listed there

Never been impressed with ATS products especially for the PSD. If you want top products for the 6.0 from the guys who specialize in the 6.0 & 6.4 then there is only one place to go and that is LIPD, they are the 6.0 performance gurus.
ATS's tuning is an SCT - Tadd Layton used to do their's. I haven't heard much positive about their customer service, so be careful. My tuner originally came from there and it was a pain to get a response. Elite Diesel (Tadd ) is now where I turn to.
Would the 6.0 gain any reliability from LIPD,s stage 1 package. If I am going to void my warranty I don't want to worry about my truck breaking down once a month and being at the dealership for 3 or 4 days at a time. How much strain would stage 1 put on the rest of the engine. I am a little spoiled I guess, my 2000 f 350 v 10 that I traded in on my 6.0 had 172,000 without any problems, not even a leak. And before somebody asks, the v 10 had a tuner, exaust, and an air box and I towed the same trailers with the v 10 as I do with the diesel.
DW66,
As far as reliability improvements I'd go w/ a set of ARP headstuds (and wire-ring gaskets if already an issue), LIPD's coolant/block reroute, the EGR delete and a Stage 1 fuel system. These items address the main culprits to 6.0 catastrophies; compression loss due to blown gaskets &/or warped heads, ruptured EGR and injector failure. The Stage 1 kit includes some of these components but not others. I'd invest in the Stage 1 at the same time as the other improvements.

I am in 100% agreement with 20046.0PSDX, as to mods for reliability. I don't know how much changing the injectors and turbo would increase the reliabillity of these items, but Matt could better answer that question. The bottom end of the 6.0 is a stout motor, 20046.0PSDX summed up the weak points very well.
The only other items i would add to 20046.0PSDX's list is the "Fluidampr" harmonic balancer and the Banks Intercooler & larger CAC tubes. Also recommend the CCV re-route as explained in the tech folder to keep the oil out of the CAC tubes and intercooler.
