Transmission question
I have a 1997 f250 and have been having problems with the transmission fluid leaking out. The place I took it to before said it was "normal" for a truck to this in hot weather which I don't think it is. It only does it when it gets into the 90's though. My question is how much transmission fluid does my truck hold? It didn't have an owners manual when I got it and I've never bothered to get one. Thanks

Go here and you can download your owner's guide and find it.
BTW there are 2 different 97 F250s a light duty (newer body style like the 97 F150) and a heavy duty (older body style like the 90-97 F350). Since you're in here I am guessing you have the heavy duty but make sure you get the owner's guide for the right one.
