BTS Value Body

I am going to be putting in a bts vb tonight and I cant find the write up on putting it in, dose anyone have the link,

When I took off the old VB there was a black gasket betwen the old VB and the trany. I left it and added the new gasket with the BTS VB is that right or should I have cut off the black one? It is shifting harder than it did before my dp tunner and the vb is that what i should except?
