Maintaining Chrome Plastic Grilles

Anybody have any tips to keep the chrome plastic grilles looking decent?

Mine has 104,000 miles on it (2005) and appears new. I use a soft brush and car wash to keep the bugs off and I waxed it once. Don't know what the previous owner did to keep it so nice.

Clear coat wheel polish will bring some depth out of, and wax will make it shiny. Those are all I have ever needed for chrome.

Yeah I guess wash and wax are the main things.

My 94 F250 grill looks great. My 2004 Lincoln grill started to have those weird wrinkles from the chrome starting to delaminate from the plastic. Replaced under warranty but worriesome. I bought it used so maybe the previous owner never waxed it?
