My son asked if the Dana 60 rear diff on his '73 highboy came from the factory with a locker, or was it limited slip, or just a plain diff. I had no answer for him. He said that on a wet street it was driving like it had a locker.
My guess is that if it has a locker, it was installed (or welded) by a previous owner, but I would like to provide him with a definitive answer.
The limited slip that came from the factory on my 1976 F250 4x4 as an option is not very effective, and is not much better than an open rear. Someone probably welded it is my guess also.
