89 f 150 missing?
I recently got a 89 f 150 with about 120,000 miles, it runs but it has a miss. I gave it a tune up plugs wires car rotor, and fuel filter but still runs rough. the truck sat for a year and did not run like this when it was parked, i also tried running fuel injector cleaner through it and that did nothing. it is a straight 6 fuel injected, if anyone has any advice it would be great. Thanks

Friend had one like that,,,his felt like vapor lock but turned out to be a missing cylinder cause of faulty electronic ignition when it got least bit warm,,,ran real rough and sounded terrible.
You can also grond out each plug with a screw driver. You will soon learn to ground it before contacting plug wire,terminal. If you do it backward,,,call it heart massage!!

yeah I meant one at a time, reconnect after you've pulled it. It helps to have pulled them with the engine cold. This loosens them up for when the engine is running. The engine should not stumble when you pull the plug that is misfiring. This helps you figure out the miss. A cop told me this one on the first car I ever owned. I had to have him jump me off and the car was misfiring bad. Ends up I was missing two cylinders.
