I’m installing an oil temperature gage on my 06 PSD. Where is the best place to put the probe? I was thinking the line going to the oil cooler, but I also heard the oil filter cap. What do you all think?
i put my oil psi sensor unit on top of my aluminum oil cap which was tapped for this purpose, if i put in an oil temp gauge i will put a tee fitting on top of my oil cap and get temp from one side and psi from the other side......check my gallery for pics of this...
Thanks Lone Wolf.
I'm looking at the 6.o Bible and I see there is an Oil temp probe already installed.
I'm going to look at the oil assembly at lunch and see what I can do there.
I also noticed that there is an Oil pressure test port I may remove the test port and put the probe there, what do you all think?
