Fast idle always
Stock org 84 150 wth 302. Think carb is a 2150. Choke pull of working good,backed off idle adjuster and also choke ajustment. But I still can not get engine to idle down.I checked voltage to choke spring and it was 7.2 Is that normal? Also choke plate fails to open all the way.May be bad choke thermo spring? How would one test spring? I would be lost with out this board for sure. JW Miller

You should be able to twist the black housing enough to fully turn off and disable the choke, so the choke door stands up straight. If you can't, then take the black choke cover piece completely off and make sure the tang in the spring is engaging the lever correctly.

aaaaaaaaaokay got everything fixed I think. But when I went to install aircleaner I can not find the double vac line that connects to top of air cleaner and where would these two lines go? I can not believe I missed placed two vac lines!There is some sort of a holder on top of air cleaner that these two lines snap into.It would help to know what they do or go hook into what? JW Miller
