Well, I found the lid of one, but it's 32 inches wide. The box has to be around somewhere...ask around, I'm not real organized out back
The other one I found is bigger than I though as well, it's 17x24 and about 24 inches tall in the rear, then the lid slopes down in front at a 45* angle.
Damn, sounds like that wont work for my bumper. Thanks for the effort Mike.
And thanks for the welcome Jag. Anybody else have any good ideas or items to put into that center section of my bumper? I can't afford an expensive 15000# winch right now.
So are there any really badass fabbers/welders in the Sac area that want to lend me a hand with my bumper? I don't have a welder nor have I ever had the chance to weld anything (I'm a 19-year old college student at UC Davis.) ?? A guy on my bumper thread offered a really cool idea for my bumper but I'm not sure if its a plausible idea. One guy found a cheap 8000# winch (link in the thread) and claimed all day that it would be enough for my truck, especially if I use a ****** block. I figure the bumper (unfortunately) is mainly just for looks and maybe the occasional fun. Anyways welders, check out my bumper thread and look at the last post to tell me if what this guy is suggesting is do-able and if any of you would be able to accomplish it. It would be really awesome:
