Ever since I put the chip in my truck I'v had a large amount of black smoke comming from the exaust when I Mash-The-Peddle. It seems really bad when she downshifts. Well here lately it seems to be doing it even more. Does this seem normal or do I have a problem that I should have looked at? Also there seems to be a hesitation when I start to get into it.

Black Smoke
A puff of smoke is normal with sudden acceleration. The boost needs a small amount of time to catch up with the fuel charge. We can remedy a large amount of smoke, we can try different programs until we find one that suits your needs. Most folks don't realize that if you take 10 trucks with the exact same code, they will all react differently to the same chip program.
