overbooster
installed my overbooster today from itp diesel and i notcied a big difference!!! i posted a thread earlier and everyone said i really wouldnt notice a difference but i did. i have a 7.3 with no exhaust and a chip on tow program. i noticed a big difference. thanks dennis at itp

I believe they are talking about the overboost anihilator. With a chip it is possible to overboost what the computer thinks is 'safe' causing a CEL and de fuels the motor (less power). This tells the computer the boost is within operating parameters thus allowing the truck to operate fully with the chip w/o defueling and CELS.
