Loaded question...

I was just wondering if anyone might have a pretty close guestimate of what my hp/tq numbers are with the mods I have?? I usually keep the Predator on 60hp. I guess this might be one of those "stupid questions" ....

Good question. Mine is pretty similar to yours so I would like to know as well. You don't happen to know Brian or Jeff Burke down there in RSM do you?

Danny... have you tried to use Ernests HP Predictor/Caclulator model yet? It is pretty involved, but may be a good tool for you to play with.

The PSDEM is already adjusted for your early 99, the current download doesn't have the rear wheel torque tab but there's a newer version with that and other improvements (like a throttle control) that I'll send to Alan Miller to post before I hit the road next Mon. The PSDEM predicts your early 99 with a 60 hp chip, 4" exhaust (I'm assuming you got rid of the CAT) and your AFE should do RWHP=260 at 2800 RPM, BP=20 psi and the corresponding RWT=648 ft lb at 2000 RPM. If you push to 22 psi BP you get 268 HP and 669 ft lb torque.

About 3 years ago at Browns Valley RV in Yuba City, CA I did 2 dyno runs (had a 70 HP Superchip, K&N Aircharger, and Banks Big Head then) and got 265 RWHP, then he installed a boost relief valve and I got 276 HP. When I got to LA, I had work done at Diesel-Tune, got rid of the boost relief valve, went with a stock WG actuator, and changed to an AIS filter, and started driving more conservatively as I was now on my second turbo!

That's the one, but you've probably already figured that out since Ernest has already responded.

Thanks Ernest- I saved your PSDEM to my desk top, 'casue at the time it looked like it would take some time to figure it out, especially with my 2 year old running amok LOL. Yeah, I run a straight pipe and push between 20/23 PSI at WOT.

If you want to test drive the latest and greatest version, send an email here and I'll send it. kempegenek@gmail.com I haven't quite finished up dating all the footnotes yet, but the Tabs are easier to use. Since I added the variable throttle settings, you don't have to manually input AFR #'s to see results from light on the throttle to WOT. I also color coded an example so you can look at MPG vs MPH.
