Rear end replacement

I would like to replace the rear end in my '69 with a disc rear off a newer truck (my current one keeps blowing the pinion seal). I have'nt been to the wrecker yet, anyone know which one would be suitable and I prefer to stay with a Ford unit. I know that we started puting disc in the '99 or '2000 models at Ontario Truck, would any of these fit or has anyone done this swap. Thanks for the help

Why go thru all that trouble, go to www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com/index8.html and use their disc brake system that bolts up to your truck?

For that kind of money I can pick up a rear end from the wrecker for $250-$350, and hopfully not have to deal with the pinion seal going, I have had this seal done 3 times already on mine

Before I'd consider a rear swap I would find out what is causing the seals to fail.Might be as simple as a plugged axle vent that doesn't cost anything to fix.
