I have an 07SCREW 4.6 and would like to add an after market trans cooler, I would like to know is how hard is it to do on this truck? DO you just cut the trans lines going into the radiator, and just cap it off?
I would leave the radiator cooler in line with the aux cooler. Usually coolers have hoses and adapters to make this easy.
Keeping the radiator cooler lets you make use of the more effect ATF to water cooling which is better than ATF to air. Also if you live where it is coled, the radiator cooler helps warm up the tranny for better shifting etc.
