A/C Works Sometimes?

A/C Works Sometimes?
My a/c blows cold when the rpms hit 2000 or so, and then will back off when the rpm's do. Has anyone had this problem before? I have a 99 psd, thanks for the help.

Condensor clicking? Do you mean the clutch for the compressor?
If the clutch isn't engaging, the air gap in the clutch might need to be adjusted - known Ford issue, really...
Or, you have a failing pressure switch.
More info needed, especially as condensors don't click

i agree if the clutch is engaging and disengaging rapidly its gonna be low on refrigerant the other thing that it may be is that there could be a leak in the system or a blockage. your compressor comes on and off with pressure of the system it engages when low pressure is sensed and disengages when there is high pressure but since it is rapid i would either say it is low because of a leak or you have a bad sensor. try unpluging the high and low pressure sensor one at a time and see what happens (when the clutch isnt engeged)
