Maintenance intervals, '04 Explorer
Greetings, all...
Long time, no talk. I have a question about what service(s) are required at what intervals for my wife's 2004 Explorer (XLT, 2WD, 4.0L). She's at 43,700 miles now and I've been doing the "shade tree mechanic" maintenance (oil and filter every 3K, air filter, rotate tires every 10K). She has misplaced her Owner's Manual, so I thought I'd ask here if anyone could tell me what services are recommended and which are "mandatory" at the 40K interval (or thereabouts).

check the Ford download site, you can download the owner's manual and scheduled maintance guide from there.
