I'm going to put 35's on my 2002 5.4L supercrew 4X4 and am wondering what options I have.
So, as I understand, the chip can compensate for tire size changes and gear ratio changes. Is there a limit to tire size/gear ratio changes? Let's say I have 38" tires and 5.38 gears?
Also, will the chip also fix the overhead console computer on lariat models (i.e. miles to empty and average miles per gallon)?
The chip can be programmed to compensate for tire size and gear ratio changes. I'm not sure what you mean by fixing the overhead console computer.... is your broken?

So... I assume the factory computer is setup to calculate the miles to empty and average miles per gallon based on factory tires and gears. If that is the case, I was wondering if the computer chips (diablosport / superchip) compensate for this and "fix" the overhead console?
