I believe he's going off to basic training in a day or two to serve our country in the USAF.

He's a dork, but I'm grateful and impressed.....to join during these uncertain times takes a lot of intestinal fortitude.

Thank you Vance and to all of you who serve/served in the Armed Forces of the greatest country on earth.

Good luck with the USAF, your life will get a lot better once that 6 weeks(make it 9 or 13 like everyone else...lol) of boot camp is up then its off to the nice country club, I meant AFB.....Dont walk into any props....hahaha

I think he made a good choice and thanks for choosing to serve.

 

Atleast the Air Force has the hottest women. When I was in the Army most of the Females were butchy. Every now and then you would get a cute one assigned to your unit but she would usually be pregnant by 6 or so months.

 

He has my profound thanks and utmost respect for his service. Like Carl said above, around here, BD, you are a hero, and you are in good company. All who serve are heroes alongside you.
