Header Installation

I picked up a set of used headers for $30 bucks from a junkyard, not sure what vehicle they came off of, but they are for a 302. I know that it is a tight squeeze on the passenger side, and I will need to rig up some kind of heat shield for my starter, but will it fit on the driver side, because it looks like there isn't much room between my fuel filter and the clutch linkage. I know of people who have installed headers on an F150, but they all had trucks that didn't have the external linkage where mine is. I either have a T18 or T19 4 speed if that helps.

I don't know nuthin about headers. :/
But what about your transmission tho?

If it's synchronized in 1st and reverse = T-19. :)
If you have to be pretty-much-stopped to shift into 1st and reverse = T-18. :)
