Cold air intake

Hello everybody,
I would like to install a cold air intake, but since i drive on LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) i think it is going to be difficult, because the gas vaporizer is in front of the throttle body.
Is there a solution ?

Looks like you won't benefit from one. It already draws in cooler air from the fenderwell and the restrictive silencer tubing has been replaced with the LP elbow, so I wouldn't waste any money on one myself. Maybe just get a stock replacement K&N element.

K&N Replacement filter is the way to go. A friend of mine spent about five hundred bucks on an air intake system for his LPG truck and he said it was a total waste of money. Good luck!

The Air filter canister can still be a restriction. there are some who enlarge the snout going into the fender to a 3 in pipe. Be cautious to get the correct filter. I have the same air filter box and the K&N restricted the entry down to the point the truck ran poorly. Maybe it is just my good luck working for me.

Not knockin the K&N or the thousands who have run them. I have used the brand for more than 20 years myself. The testimonys of K&N general use do not add value to the topic of the mounting depth of the filter. There are paper filters which will create the same problem. It is my luck that I manage to find these troubles. Since you are a supplier I will make note that they do sacrifice in filtration quality and can destroy a motor in extreme dirt environments quickly. Mud run or desert racers specifically. It is a factor to running one. scratched cylinders will make LESS power than a good paper filter. I am sure you are a good guy and a great contributor to this site. But... when someone says: These are great, and by the way I sell them.?.?.?

Sorry to digress here. Watch for the mounting depth of the filter of whatever element you choose. I experimented with my airbox by cutting open the front during the winter. Since it was cold I did not have trouble with heated air. Ran quite a bit better. Summer came and killed it at slow speeds. Above 100deg inlet temp and the ECU cuts back fuel. above 125 pulls back timing. I saw the 125 deg, but usually about 115 at a light. I put my cutout back in place and modified the piece going into the fender. Cut it off and replaced with 3 in plastic tube. I have a plastic welder so made it feasible. Was the mod worth it??? I don't think so. I did mine because apparently I have the wrong K&N which restricts the opening, and I enjoyed the experiment. Plus I have removed the restricting silencer LXman noted.

The pics indicate this is a street machine. As others already suggested, the K&N would do you fine.
