Hello!
I'm really happy to find this forum, I own a 89 Aerostar since several years and I have done several blunders in servicing it at home, US cars are a little differents than Europeans models and need an appropriation of this culture. Even good mechanics lack infos about this and their advices are not always good.
I want to apologize but I have only a scolar knowledge of US english and it's a far-off story for me now!!!!

HI and welcome to this forum.
We also at times have problems getting automotive repairs so I imagine how much harder it is in France.
There is no need to apologize about your knowledge of US English, it seems pretty good and gets your point across quite nicely.
