Im going to paint my dads 90 F-150 soon, it needs it bad. But I want to do something other than the single color black. Maybe some kind of stripes or two tone. Post up your ideas.
I had 6 of them All 3 tone black on black with black pin strips.
You can go Eddie Bower style and just paint bottom Easiest. Or door handle down 2 tone. Up the middle ,Or any graphics on side . But I like just simple (any width ) Pin strip . Bright red or orange really show nice on black .I have had several different paint layouts over years . Up middle. bottom , Front 1 color fade to other . Problem is Black has no other shade the helps it pop. Except gray And I don't like gray silver. And the other end of scale say red contrasts to much. If put it in large areas. But that is me.
Whenever I get to fixing the little dings and depressions, I plan to paint a strip on the sides ... mayby just the stripe since that is where most of the dings and depressions are.
That black truck would look good with some Shelby Stripes on the hood and cab.
