front wheel bearings
Going to replace front wheel bearings tomorrow just wanted to see if there is anything i should know and if there are any special tools/presses/pullers i need to do the job. its 4X4 solid axle. would it be worth it to change the u-joints while i have it apart or too much work? they seem fine every time i am in 4x4 but if they are going to be right there in the open then i might as well, considering it has 170K miles and i am not the first owner. thanks guys.

If they are perfect, I wouldn't bother...
But you won't know if they're perfect until you get the wheel bearings off
After that, you can move them back and forth by hand and see if they are nice and smooth and not loose.
