A few weeks ago, I lost an entire weekend working on my girlfriends Kia. At some point in the process, she and I were discussing life in general, and I mentioned something about my not getting the lawn mowed.
She felt responsible for that, as I'd spent the weekend working on her car. So, one evening while I was at work, she came over to my house and mowed my lawn for me...
So tonight, without my fixing her car...I'm supposed to be at work. I had already worked this morning...so I called her at noonish and mentioned that I had too many things to do in the few hours between work and asked her to help me prioritize.
She told me to do x and y, and she'd come over and mow my lawn for me!! AND DO THE DISHES!!!
I've been with my wife now for 14 years, and truthfully all good (this time, I paid dearly for the ex) she has yet to mowe a yard. We've bought our second house, and have rented two. Nada yard has she mowed. Terry Congrats..

I bought a zero turn riding mower last year, do you think that i can get the wife to use it ?... Not only , " NO ", but , " HELL NO ". Reason I bought it, was i thought the wife may help mow once in a while, maybe one day she'll learn how to just start it. Till then, I mow, I mow so it's off to work I go.
Cheers Ken..
My wife scares me when she mos, just doesn't understand gravity and it's effects on objects tipping... that, and I'm kind of particular, so to save trouble, I just do it. But the being nice and coming over and doing things can be trouble, or it can be good... my ex started out that way, but would get mad that I would go work on projects instead of sit with her, even though she was coming over ALL the time... so it can be good, and can be bad, sometimes it's a front to hook you, then later, none of it gets done...
Hmmm. My wife does almost all of the mowing. But then again I'm the one cleaning 12 horse stalls...by my self. Fortunetly only 3 are occupied 24/7 (2 stallions in 2 12x12, and a mare with a 6 week old filly in a 24x12) the others are still used daily for feeding. With a full time job in the city during the week I only have the weekend for "choirs".
The problem these days is that 1 of my tractors is down with a probable injection pump failure. So we are each "needing" the remaining tractor for both jobs. (both are '66 Ford 3000's, one diesel[down] and one gas). That, and she is able to kill mower deck belts in the blink of an eye. One the 60" that is a pain to change.

Boy, it's rough...
She is just laying the trap and look who is falling in....
On the other hand...she drives a kia...what does that say about her? Hmm.....(I didn't say a word)
