Well the thing is everyone is busy as heck, I'm not sure on how Fom feels on having the 51 sit in his yard, but if it does end up resting til everyone is not as busy thats fine with me. But sadly I don't think it's on it's way to Salman Arm.

hey thats cool...

I am in the midst of getting a flatdeck tow truck...actually we sold the house in Odessa for a wee tiny profit ($1500)...but I am now going to get myself a truck and start towing...

I used to have a 72 with a flatdeck/beavertail with ramps I had to pull out and a 9000LB ramsey winch... I sacrificed her to raise funds to get married :-)

Now I am going to get back into it... except I would like to get a 80's or 90's truck this time around...and hopefully the deck will tilt so I dont gotta slide ramps out manually everytime...and maybe be able to take two at a time if it has the lift in the back...I guess I am going to be starting the towing business I have always dreamed of...since the whole house thing isnt working out for me right now...LOL...might aswell have a way to make money myself and be my own boss...probably better to do that first before getting into a house anyways...how bout them interest rates...rising alot in 1 months time...its only a matter of time until millions of peoples mortgages go up and they have more people selling than buying and it'll be a buyers market then...aways seems to go in cycles...

I am seeing that tow trucks are alot cheaper than flatdeck trucks built for towing...

but I want to be able to get scrap cars to bring in aswell as do towing...so I want to get a flatdeck...or I will be having to manually place the dolly under the car I tow if it dosnt have tires or has flats or something...

hey firsttry...I actually got another print job in Vancouver.
I decided to be with family was better than cheap houses ...

live and learn, I gave it a shot but it didnt work out... I was basically only looking at things from a financial perspective... moneys no good if your not happy

but in the end after lawyer and realtor fees i should make $$$$ on the sale of my house in SK...and I did get to live there for free for 2 months on a nice holiday...and I made $$$$ at work in the meantime... when I think of it like that...
I was on holidays for 2-3 months and came home with more than I arrived with... so Im just going to invest in a flatdeck tow truck, get a business license, start taking out ads, get business cards and try my hardest to make a go of it....if it works out maybe I will be able to get a house here sooner than I think... and its doing something I really like to do... which is hauling scrap cars for people...and selling engines and stuff out of them...and doing any tow jobs that come up aswell... the wife is going to take calls at home and then relay messages to me on the road... aslong as i can get a good dependable truck I should do okay...lots of scrap cars here, and no room for anyone to store them..

SK was nice but my wife started to tear up when we got back into the mountains... this is home LOL....

Both are real nice.
A little pricey for a start up cost but with good care should last a long time though.
