blackstone OA question

The reason i am gonna give it a try is because when i was messing with my air box yesterday it looked like there was traces of dirt around all sides of the gasket. which scares me that the left side of the air box where there is a gap that we all have...maybe dirt is geting in. The fins on the turbo were perfect showed no signs of debris or dirt ingestion. But when it comes to how much turbos and motors cost I dont think i can be too careful. what is the name of the test that shows dirt content in the oil, silicon?? does this come in the standard blackstone OA?? I have over 3k on my current oil and have the by-pass on there which im eager to see if he thinks the oil is nice and clean for haveing it on there. If the test shows dirt im gonna get rid of it for a A/M system of some sort. i do not drive in any dust but i do not want to Go A/M if my stock system is filtering 100%

Wish, yes, Blackstone looks for silicon in the UOA. My last report stated the Universal average for silicon was 11ppm and my reading was 5ppm with the stock intake. When I change the air filter I put some grease on the rubber to insure a proper seal. If you write "Diesel Forum Member" on the slip you can get the discount price of $20 instead of $22.
