very unique project... engine needed

hey everyone... i'm about to undergo a VERY unique project that will require a small, but powerful, and cheap diesel engine that can also start in the extreme cold. i'm lookin at an engine more along the lines of a 4bt cummins... pretty much 2-4 cylinders is what i'm lookin for, with torque in the 200+ range... i would LOVE for it to be turbo'ed but if it's not than i can gladly add one later in the project... it would need to fit in a pretty compact space... i think that's all the details i can reveal now... pm with any findings thanks!!

4 cyl, "A" series Cummins. Quite a bit smaller than the 4BT.

vw rabbit diesel it fits in very compact spaces... it may not have the power, but if you turbo it itd probably do what you want, and get great mileage doing it.
