just intalled a recon m,otor 4.2v6in my 97 f 150 code comes up speed sensor speedo dont work at all any info????? also a ticking noise on the passenger side when i get under the truck i seems to be coming out of the converter great oil pres. ect ...and motor runs great help this shade tree mech!!!!!....;peter

I would check the wiring to the speed sensor. Make sure it connected on both ends of its harness. Also make sure you didn't pinch it between the trans and the cab when you were putting the engine in.
