i just installed a K&N fipk II intake and am now looking for an exhaust system... i was looking at the MBRP 4" turbo back ss system... what do you guys reccomend for an exhaust? i also am getting a EGR delete pipe from a local diesel performance shop (liberatorperformance.net) which will greatly lower EGTs.... so which exhaust would be the best for me and also which chips are decent? im only looking for like a 60-80 HP chip... i've heard adjustable chips increase the chances of blowing head gaskets... so i guess what im looking for is more of a box/module than an programmer...

I wouldn't do a box/module, you'll end up taking chances with your tranny especially, edge is pretty bad about that happening with their stuff. I think your custom tuners will actually have an option to where you can have them program it to shut your egr off so you don't have to weld it shut or take it out. Also do gauges, some could argue that you don't need it 50 hp or less tune, but just better safe then sorry. You run the chance of blowing heads no matter what performance upgrade you do, that really depends on how responsible you are with that power. ARP studs might be the way to go if you really think that might be an issue or if you are going to do more performance mods like aftermarket turbo, injectors, etc(if you think you going to do that then I would just go for custom tunes right off the bat, since your box/module won't be able to compensate for those eventual upgrades when(if) you do them). Also most would say to get rid of the aftermarket intake unless your goin to go over 500hp, if you plan on going over 500hp then you might also want to look at a 5 inch exhaust instead of 4 inch. The exhaust that you mention tends to be the favored, I did an AFE turbo back and I like the sound that it makes, but alot like the one that you mentioned.
