chip dyno results?
hi, i was wondering if any members have independent dyno tests of different chips? as in, strap your truck to a chassis dyno, make a few pulls then change out chip "a" for chip "b", make a few more pulls and so on? i couldn't find anything in the archives. any link(s)would be appreciated. tia

Don't know if anyone here has results but I will caution one thing about comparing one brand to another.....
You need to compare several codes from each brand in several similar trucks (ie, same year and engine) with different ECU codes to get the real picture of the characteristics. The reason is some brands have better codes for some ECU codes than others.
The proposition of a good, thorough test would be expensive... yikes. The only time a single code chip to chip test would be relavant is if you had the same ECU code in your truck.
