IP or not?
My 94F250 7.3 automatic 4x4 has this intermittant desire to not start when its hot outside and it has been running. I changed the fuel return lines and this was way overdue. 200k miles on it. When it doesn't start there is like no fire at all. Then all the sudden it will start. Its like its starved for fuel or the glow plugs are not getting power. The relay whats the voltage there? Hopefully not the IP, any smart way to isolate it. Remember its only when its hot. Is there a breakdown of the sequence when you start these monsters? I had this happen last night finally got it going. I drove it home and it restarted just fine. Runs fine today, hope you can help.

Sounds like the IP is on the way out, mine is doing the same thing. It will restart fine when shut down, but wait 10-15 minutes and it just turns over like it is not getting fuel. If I crank on it for 15-20 seconds, it will fire off. Starts cool with no problem.
