Hood Liner
Well I think my Ford Dealer's Service Department suks. My Hood liner is falling apart and they are trying to tell me that Rodents are doing the damage. Come on my Truck is parked on the Street and is about driven daily but my 07 Black Mustang GT/CS sits in the garage and they don't seem to bother it at all. The Service man almost was going to bet me that there would be a nest in my air cleaner box. When they pulled it out it was clean. Also there are no rodent turds or other nesting materials anywhere on the engine. How much is a new liner???
Perhaps i'll go for a 2nd opinion at another Dealer.

What a bunch o' crap, rodents?! Find a new dealer. Unless the dealer can find other evidence to substantiate those claims you should tell the service advisor that you REFUSE his theory based on the fact there is no other proof of rodents. Then ask what his next theory is...perhaps martians that can only power their spaceships on the hood liner material?
