Towing in performance mode
I use a superchips flashpaq that run in extreme performance mode all the time. It runs the best in that mode, gets the best mileage and egr is turned off. Once and awhile I tow a dump trailer around town max weight 8,000. I take it easy and keep boost below 10psi and egt bellow 700 degrees. Just wondering if this would cause a problem if I take it easy? If I was going on a long trip I would switch to tow mode but I hate to switch back and forth for these short trips.

Temps are the MOST important. You can run 1400* just don't do it for more than a minute or 2. 700 isn't even working the motor enough to keep the coke out of the turbo. Don't be scared, but don't abuse it either. These 6.0's will workhorse fine if you allow them to.
