Those were very popular in the 80s, with the 4x4 diesel Excursions, the need kind of faded as a people mover and hauler, which is why you don't see new ones anymore, imo.
I have the 84 in my Avatar you can see her in my pics. SHe is 6.9 ATS turbo c-6 autocouch in back folds down into bed SUPER COMFORTABLE to take trips in. We use her to take all of our long distance runs in. She has been all over the western half of the U.S. I have the fifth wheel hitch and the bumper hitch for her she is great. Kind of a bear to park though. The wheel base is 14 feet center to center. Centurion did a good job building her with the fiberglass bed and cap that closes off the rear of the cab. The inside of the bed is diamond plate. You defenatly get looks going down the street.
There are no records on the production from the factory as there was a fire in the Ninties (I think) that destroyed all of the production paper work. Mine still has the centurion floof mats. They were called cruisers and cruiser II If it has the little fenders then it is the cruiser, If it has ther large rear fenders like the f-350 then it is a cruiser II I will see what else I can remember and add as it comes to me. There is not a lot out there on the internet.
The newest one I have ever seen is a 1988 with a 7.3 diesel.
