chip code? Ken
I have a 1998 F-150 4x4 with a 4.6l automatic. No sticker on the jam but the sticker on the ECU was F0U1. Is this the right one? I have flowmaster cat backs and after my chip purchase going to put a K&N FIPK in. What kind of horsepower gains should I excpect to get with the combined chip, exhause and filter mods?

FOU1 is the code. The Diablo chip will give roughly 24 HP, the Superchips roughly 20 HP. Can't give you a solid number for the exhaust and filter, its far too difficult to nail down numbers of combinations without doing a dyno of the modifications done together. I do know the FIPK is good for about 5 HP and most exhausts for about 10-15 HP... but giving the figures in combination with a chip is impossible without a dyno pull.
