Back in the beginning of February i was collecting umemployment then worked for a few various temporary job agencies..which i only collected like 3 unemployment checks before i became employeed with the temporary agencies and now im back at nothing with working. Does anyone know if I can go back and continue drawing umemployment from the job I collected it from back in February or am I screwed? jobs are hard to find these days by the way im in Ohio.
Maybe locally jobs are hard to find, but nationally the unemployment rate is extremely low, far better than the historical average at 4.5%. What field are you in?
So Even thoguh I stoped my unemployment for a few months with working I can go back onto employment from the job I had in February. Ive been told once you get on unemployment then find a job and if you somehow become unemployed again you cannot collect unemployment with the company you was getting it from.

I graduated high school in 2005. Im in the factory setting...
i know in florida you can. my cousin got unemployed, then she worked for a bit, then got unemployed again, but resumed her previous unemployment benefits.
you should go to college, with the student loans you would proably make out better money wise then just working these low wage jobs all the time, thats what i am doing.
of course i got the GI bill also coming in, funny thing is i make more money from my gi bill and student loan then most people in my apartment complex makes working full time.
unemployment rate may be low, but at least around here, trying to find something over $10 an hour is about impossible, and when they do have something open, there are only 1000 people applying for the one slot.
college i am telling you. heck, i was in the Navy for 9 years with an electronic and security background and i can't find a career type job after 6 months of searching.

Ive been thinking about college but need some way to have a steady income...You think I could have your email address or something so we can discuss college and how things go about?
I have no idea Ive been unemployed for 7 months finally got a job making 1/2 of what I'm use to but it will be a job. i collected unemployment for 6 weeks and my employer appealed and won now i gotta pay back 3 grand . doesn't seem fair i got the unemployment because they didn't respond in the time allotted for the claim it sucks if i didn't respond id be out of luck but they get the appeal. I hate trucking companies. got fired because i refused a load to get my truck fixed instead of going down to Laredo, TX for a 3 day layover with a hazmat load and no Air conditioning. at an operating center with no food except vending machines. oops sorry had to rant.
The unemployment rate for those with at least a Bachelor's degree is 2.0.
Those with a high school diploma: 4.5.
Those without a high-school diploma: 6.7
The lesson: go to college and get a degree no matter what it takes. Lots and lots of scholarship and student loan programs available for those willing to chase them down.
In DE the max benefit is the max benefit. It's the same amount of money whether you went to school or not.
But I suggest going to college too if you can.
