hello...i have a f150 xl 2w and an idler pulley with bad bearings...looking at engine from front the pulley is located at bottom left..this is not the tension pulley..I cannot see a bolt holding the pulley..it's just a round head with looks like maybe a hex head hole but it rusted over..cannot feel nut on back ..no idea how to get this thing off...thanks for the help..tom
The idler pulley is simply bolted in place with a bolt through it's center. If it is not a hex head bolt, then you will need to get allen key to get into it. I would be a bit surprised if it is not a simple hex head bolt. Good luck!
