Ask a doc to write you a prescription for Neuronton and see if it doesn't help. If surgery is in your future, you will generally hear negative stories from those who have had it because they are more vocal. I had back fusion surgery and am glad I did. Will be glad to tell you all about it.
Again, thanks to all of you for the responses. I'm going to talk to folks I know in the area and see if any can recommend a doctor that isn't going to try to just pill me out. I talked to my pops and he said there's a pretty good chiropractor up the street, and I should give that a shot since I've never been to one before. Probably do that this week.
Thanks a ton guys!
The ice method is a good idea for short term. Some people will tell you to use heat; my chiropractor insists on ice. If the area is inflamed and you add heat to it, it won't help. Ice compresses will cool the area/inflamation and give you some relief. Try a chiropractor....they do help. And good luck!
